Mission
Statement
To
serve our Alma Mater and Alumni through a strong association by
protecting and building upon our accomplishments of the past in
order to facilitate the avenues for our future members.
Vision
Statement
Sharing the pride of the UAG experience through the reinvestment
of ourselves.
The UAG Alumni association, chartered by the university as its
official organization for UAG School of Medicine alumni in the
United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada, exists to promote continued
opportunities for students and for graduates in Fifth Pathway,
residency training and practice. The Association works to educate
the public as to the qualities and contributions of UAG graduates.
Through activities in various medical associations and boards,
the Association serves as a voice for UAG alumni. In addition,
the UAG alumni Association of Puerto Rico was founded in 1996.
There
are more than 12,000 UAG graduate physicians in various stages
of training and/or practice in the United States, Puerto Rico
and Canada. Many of them stand ready to work through the Association
to advise and counsel students or recent graduates on entering
the North American Medical system.
