Language Center
The
International Language Center (CII)
was founded in response to Mexican and foreign students wanting
to develop the language skills necessary for succeeding and actively
participating in todays world.
The languages taught there are Spanish, English, French, Italian,
German and Japanese. If your goal is to speak Spanish, the Spanish
Department at the International Language Center is your right choice.
Center
for Asian and Latin American Studies
The
Center for Asian and Latin American Studies (CEAL) was founded in
a joint effort by UAG, Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, Japan,
and the Osaka University of Commerce, Japan. These three universities
have combined synergically their long educational, technological
and administrative experience as well as their financial resources
to achieve the Centers mission; i.e., to develop human resources
able to perform efficiently in the Pacific Basin countries. The
Center has programs for Chinese, Japanese and Korean studies which
include courses that are part of the curriculum for different majors.
Furthermore, the Center sponsors and arranges student exchanges
between UAG and Asian universities. Independent students and groups
of Asian students receive special support throught the center. For

for Canadian Studies
This
Center the for Canadian Studies (CEC) is devoted to teaching and
research, and operates as an information center about different
aspects of Canada. CEC acts as a center for collaboration and interaction
between different educational institutions, professors, students,businessmen,
and professionals from Canada and Western Mexico. Its purpose is
to foster information and experience exchanges relevant to solving
problems of mutual interest, and to promote the sustainable development
of both countries. |
